How did taxpayers become the losers?

Summary:   Let us take a trip in the "Way Back Machine" to find the answers.  In 1933, FDR gave America the New Deal and with it came sweeping changes in Social Programs.  These changes are what put the Democrat Party on top of the World..."Look at me Ma, I'm on top of the World" from a movie so old it is in Black and White.

But the Taxpayer was not on top, they became the payee of Bad Ideas:

  • The New Deal was a series of domestic programs enacted in the United States between 1933 and 1938, and a few that came later.
  • The New Deal produced a political realignment, making the Democratic Party the majority and held the White House from 1933 to 1969.
  • Second Bill of Rights: Jobs, Food, Clothing, Recreation, Decent Homes, Medical Care, Unemployment and Education.

This may sound all Well and Good, but the Taxpayer pays for all this Stuff that still exists and only gets more intrusive every day.

So how do they pull it off?

Marketing, that's right, Marketing just like big business.  Their products are actually called Programs and the Ad Champagnes are worded in a way that if you don't like the program you're a______, fill in the blank.

So how do we slow the roll?

The easiest way to slow this and stop the bigger problems is to Just stop buying the BS.  Since they're selling, we must stop buying and start picking and choosing wisely.  Do our research just as we do when buying any Big Company Product.

All subjects are based on a Minimalist Mindset and point of view to help take the Scary out of all the "What if's" in life.
