Here is Jenny Craig Diet Review for those that like to read along.

The foods on the menu offered by the Jenny Craig diet plan are designed to meet the USDA Dietary Guidelines. They feature fruits, vegetables, whole grains, reduced fat milk products, and "heart healthy" fats, but also include lean meat, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts. Cholesterol, sodium, added sugars and saturated fats are low in the foods.

The Jenny Craig Diet includes foods and chocolate designed to appeal to certain groups of people, also. The menu includes meatless selections, as well as plans directed toward men and women, teens, type 2 diabetics, and the elderly.

The Jenny Craig menus are developed by a team of accredited practising dietitians. When you start on the program you're assigned to a structured menu plan based on your age, your height, your gender and your level of physical activity. Your RMR times Activity level

How it Works
It works with consultation, or a sales person, called your “Consultant” that sets down with you and does the real math to get your
RMR, Resting Metabolic Rate times
PA Physical Activity to determine your
TDEE or Total Daily Energy Expenditure, or your Total Calories needed each day.

Based on your goals, your ConsAultant will figure out the food to eat every day per week, of course they are restricting your caloric intake while doing all this Voodoo,

The Math
The Jenny Craig Website shows no Macros or formulas to help you go it alone, this is all done by your Sales Person, I mean Consultant.

You are following the Supermarket diet with the help of a Dietitian and getting food from the "Jenny Craig" kitchen, sent to your home, or picked up from one of their “In Centers”.

Type of Diet
Weight Loss only, but Jenny Craig website says that it has a Plan for those with Diabetes also.

Pro’s
This will help most people that need the extra Push, or someone else to keep them motivated.
Dietitian and USDA approved
Most reviewers I watched said that the food tasted great.

Con’s
Cost is high, and you don’t or can’t find prices online, anywhere, I looked
Your Consultant is selling you the Plan or Vision, they are not the Dietitians, and anyone can become a Consultant.

Why you should or should not do this diet
All said, this diet plan tells you to exercise and eat right, most dietitians will tell you to do the same thing.

Because it is based on the Recommended USDA Guidelines, you are Paying to eat the typical Diet served in schools, you are just paying more.

There is nothing New with the Jenny Craig Diet Plan as far as science and the same old mantra of eat more Fruits, Veggies, Lean Meat and Fat Free Dairy. This can all be learned at any Doctors office. Save your Money.
